Back by popular demand, a repeat of an old SCT summer tradition... a doubles social tournament at Diversey clay courts! But Chardonnay is so passé, so now it’s all about the Rosé All Day Tournament! Here are the details:
- Tournament will be one day only, Sat July 19th, starting at 1pm. Finals will be at the end of round robin play at approximately 7pm, possibly earlier if time allows
- The cost will be $40 per individual or $80 per team
- 20 teams total: 5 teams within 4 groupings (Open, A, B, and C)
- Round robin format
- We will allow individual sign up if people don’t have a partner and will help partner you with someone in the same group
- Matches will be first to 6 games with tiebreaker at 5 all, with a time limit of 30 minutes per match
- Second deuce no-ad scoring
- Top two teams with the most sets won in the round robin qualify for finals, with a tiebreaker being games won/lost
- Finals will be an 8 game pro set
- Join in on the fun and wear some rosé/pink themed outfits!
- Food and snacks provided throughout the day
- After tournament social, location TBD
Registration is now open! Please follow the link below to register since space is limited. An active AAC annual membership will be required to register. FYI if you register as a Team Captain, your doubles partner will have to register as a Team Player and select the team name that the captain registered. If you don’t have a doubles team, just register as an Individual Player and we’ll help team you up with someone.
